To be a commonwealth means to be a political community founded for the common good, that provides for the common defense and the general welfare.  In a Commonwealththe government has limited power and the responsibility to protect and defend the God given rights of the people.In a Commonwealth the peope are resposible to respect the lives, liberty and property of everyone in the community and to obey all laws that are just and to refus to comply with those that are not.
