As children we are taught storiessuch as  Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella  They are  also taight about Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. As they grow up they we come to realize that these stories are make believe.

We were taught Biblical stores about David and Goliath, Noah and his Ark and the Parting of the Red Sea by Moses.are historical people, places and/or events.  Most Christians continue to beleive these stories are true even though  there is very  little evidence to support their authenticity,

We assumed that the stories were true at a very earl age and never questioned the validity of these Biblical stories.
