Consent of the Governed and Silence is Consent

When a man reamins silent and blindly obedient, he is giving tyrants the power to turn him into a subject and hosGod given rights become privileges granted to him by the legislatures of men.

A man who is governed is not a free, he is a subject to the authority of a ruling class.

A man could and should obey the laws that are just, but must refuse to comply with thos that are not.

We have a right and a responsibility to disobey laws that harm others. When we obey the tyrants we givev them the power to oppress.

Thomas Jefferson stated in the Declaration of Independence that governments are created by the consent of the governed. He also said that the people have a right to alter of abolish their government.

This can happen when a sufficient number of people withdraw their consent. This is done when the people refuse to obey the unjust laws, rules and regulations.

When you tolerate injustice you give your consent to tyranny. You can only become a victim if you give your consent.

When you choose to vote and pay Federal Income Taxes you give your consent.
