Out of a population of 5,308,483 only 67,282 voted for either Thomas Jefferson or John Adams. The votes in that election were cast by less than 2% of the total population. So, the candidate elected only represented the 2% who voted not the 98% who didn't. Some were not eligible, some just didn't vote, but no matter, it is plain to see that it doesn't take a very high percentage of the people's votes to get elected.

The official name of the fed gov is 'United States' - it is only a generic term when used for anything else.  Thus when a court says you are a 'citizen of the United States' it is saying you  are a fed citizen.  Why is this so important?  Because as the courts have correctly stated, fed citizens have almost no rights secured by any constitution.

Constitution for the United States of America

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

The Constitution for the united States is a document that was written by the delegates of the states. It belongs to the states and the people. The title Constitution of the United States implies that it belongs to the national government. The Constitution is a rulebook that defines what the central government  can and can not do. The people and the states can amend the Constitution because it belongs to them. Those lurking in the shadows believe the National government owns the document and go do whatever they want.

You are correct, it belongs to the states and thru them, the people, but not directly.  The states represented the people and the United States was suppose to represent the states. 

The 'for' in 'Constitution for the United States', when discussions of the SCt are taken into account make it clear that it is the constitution for the creation of the United States because that is what the constitution did.  The Article of Confederation brought the United States / fed gov to life.  The new constitution expanded the powers it had in order to allow it to carry out the duties imposed.

What is important is that both the states and United States are operating way outside the constitutions that created them with the United States taking on the position of sovereign over all in which all rights have been suspended.

That can only happen under communist controlled United States military occupation of the states.

So what these numbers are telling me is that only .78 % of the total population voted for Jefferson and only .49% of the population voted for Adams. That's about 8/10ths and 5/10ths. That's not even 2% of the population. It's only 1.26743% of the total population.
