In the Declaration of Independence, it is written that all men were created equal in the sight of God and that this was self-evident. However, the government created to protect our rights has become a crime syndicate. This tends to benefit only a select group of individuals "according to their needs" at the expense of "the rich", "according to their means."
We have voluntarily given our consent to an oligarchy of 435 Congressmen and 100 Senators, to write laws which seek to control us rather than to secure our rights. This is not what the founders had in mind.
All of the laws we need have already been written by the Creator of Heaven and Earth. The job of Congress is to write legislation that protects our God given rights and the job of the President is to enforce those laws.
In a land founded upon the principles of equality and justice, our elected officials have become our rulers and we have become their servants. We have allowed our federal government to grow so large and powerful, that they now control our everyday lives.
We give our consent to this tyranny by remaining silent and by complying with the legislation of these men and women who have turned their back on the Constitution and the principles of liberty.
When a just man is forced to comply with an unjust law he is at the mercy of tyrants rather than being guided by the voice of righteousness and his Creator. We were all born with a conscience and inherently know the difference between right and wrong. We should be guided by our conscience and endeavor to obey those laws which are just and refuse to comply with those which are not.
The laws of God promote liberty, equality and justice, while the unconstitutional legislation of men leads to nothing but enslavement.
In order to be free, we must first govern ourselves and the men and women we elect to represent us. The Constitution has not failed us; we have failed to protect and defend it.
The Constitution is just a piece of paper and it cannot protect us if we don't defend it. With freedom comes responsibility and if we don't hold our elected officials accountable, we have no one to blame but ourselves.
If we remain ignorant and uninformed, we will continue live in an unjust society where liberty, equality and justice are not possible. The Constitution was not written to govern the people, it was written to restrict the powers of our national government. How can we expect our elected officials to do their job it we fail to do ours.
Laws which are Constitutional and fair, seek to promote liberty, equality and justice and laws which are not Constitutional tend to benefit only a select few at the expense of others. This is NOT what the founders had in mind and it is repugnant to our Creator as well.

When we elect a Congressman or women we grant them power. In the process we give them our consent to be rulers if we don't compel them to follow the rules found in the Constitution. Giving an elected official the power to write laws and the authority to interpet and enforce the laws is a very dangerous doctrine.
