I was surprised to learn that the person selected to be the Speaker of the House of Representatives is NOT required to be an elected Representative. In other words the members of the House of Representatives could choose Judge Napolitano, Ron Paul or Rosie O'Donnell to be the next Speaker of the House.

If Rosie O'Donnell were selected as the Speaker of the House and both the President and the Vice President were to die, Rosie O'Donnell would become the President of the United States.

Don't you think that it is about time for a Constitutional Amendment requiring the Speaker of the House to be an elected member of the House of Representatives?

I would vote for the judge. We need an outsider who will follow the Constitution. It does not need to be a rocket scientist.  Those that [who] are already elected are crooks, period. Al Capone was a better person than 95%t of those who are there today.
