The Founding Fathers who signed the Declaration of Independence affirmed that all men have rights which were granted to them by their Creator. One of the most basic rights is the freedom to choose what to buy and who to buy it from.

When engaging in commerce, the buyer and the seller enter into a voluntary contract. In order to  facilitate the exchange both parties must agree on the terms of the transaction. Neither the buyer nor the seller can be compelled to buy/sell anything without the mutual consent of both parties.

The government has no lawful authority to nullify the rights of either the buyer or the seller.

We discriminate every time we go to the grocery store.  Some of us choose Cheerios and others select Rice Krispies. Some of us choose Coke and others choose Pepsi. The right to choose what to buy and where to buy it, is one of our God given rights.

If the government can force you to buy Coca Cola at a particular market, the government would be violating your freedom to choose.

A man who makes cakes has a right to sell his product to whomever he wants and the man desirous to buy a cake has the freedom to select the vendor of his choice. It would be wrong to force the customer to buy the cake from one particular vendor and it would be equally unfair to compel the baker to sell his cakes to people he does not want to serve.

Laws which rob individuals of their freedom to discriminate violate the very principles upon which our nation was founded.

If a baker wanted to sell his cakes to only left handed albinos, I believe it would be his right to do so. I believe that by limiting his market he would have a difficult time succeeding in his business.

If a gay baker wanted to sell cakes only to gay customers, he should have the right to do so. If a heterosexual baker wants to limit his sales to heterosexual customers he too, should have that right.

A righteous man does what is right because it is right, not because he is compelled to do so. If the government has the authority to compel us to buy our products from a particular vendor or requires the vendor to sell his products to whoever wants them, our God given rights have become privileges granted to us by the state.

If I knew a business owner refused to serve people because of their gender, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation, I would personally boycott the man's business and I would encourage all of my friends to do the same.

We all have the right to choose, but when our choices injure another party it becomes a problem. Robbing a merchant of his right to choose is not answer; When a business owner discriminates against a potential customer based on race, religion, age or gender it is our responsibility to boycott that merchant, It is the job of the people and not the government to hold the merchant accountable.

Aye Keith but the "slippery slope" lies in your statement:

"...but when our choices injure another party it becomes a problem. Robbing a merchant of his right to choose is not answer.."

A merchant being boycotted by the "public" could very well go into court and argue at the very

least for a "cease and desist" order (an injunction)  against the boycotters. This of course can

challenge the boycotter's right of free speech and peaceful redress of grievances.

If we have a right to choose, the government does not have the authority to regulate the decisions we make. If a man can not tell his neighbor what he can and can not do, the government can't either. We the people created the government and can only grant to the government powers we possess.

We, as individuals do not have the right to steal another man's property, so we can not grant to government the authority to steal.

Can someone please prove (with evidence obviously) that god, any god, exists BEFORE talking about him/it or giving him/it credit for something? Assuming makes an ass out of u and me. Telling me about Jesus is not evidence. God attaching a limb withOUT any human around the person with the missing limb would work. I will give anyone $1,000,000,000,000 who can get their god to do this in front of a crowd and camera.

Proper scientific methodology is required for evidence. Or god could stop hidding and just show himself and talk to me like you talk to people - verbally face to face.

I see that you did not provide evidence. I rest my case.

I did not assume. If god is all-powerful then he can make himself visable. Aliens from outer space have NOT been prooven true.

I have not refused to see the invisable. I have no choice.

Burden of proof is on the claimant that their religion is true

1* Religious people like to conclude that because no one can prove god does not exist, god must exist. This is passing the buck and does not prove god does exist. The person who makes a claim must prove the claim true, not everyone else must prove the claim wrong. Otherwise, I could claim you are a thief and then you would be a thief until you prove me wrong. Proving a negative is impossible. It is like proving Santa Claus does not exist. Impossible. It is a maxim that the claimant always has the burden of proof. Saying that a claim is wrong is not claim, it is a counterclaim. So, is the bible true? Do god, Jesus and the Holy Spirit exist? Do 1 or more of them interact with people on Earth? If so, what is the proof? If there is no proof, it must be false.

2* Theism preceded atheism. Being an anti/a/un/nonbeliever in something that does not exist in belief, concept or reality makes no sense. Atheists first responded to theists. Theists made claims and then atheists countered or asked for evidence. In other words, atheism exists BECAUSE of theism. Same is true for the antichrist and Satan.

You still have not proven your belief. Your belief in words are not proof.

Show us the saucer and Sasquatch or tell us where we can see them.

"You, you, you". You keep attacking me the messenger. Stay on subject. I'm still waiting for you to provide us with evidence of god, saucers and Sasquatch.

Denigrate? Never did. Just asking for you to post evidence. Still waiting. Zzzzzz.

To 5WarVeteran: You have not offered evidence. You only said you have evidence, but never post it here. No photos, no websites, nothing except personal attacks. When people make personal attacks, it is because they have nothing to offer. It's like saying "you win, damn it!"

Now, call it concidence if you want BUT, John Brown, I term it 'Intelligent Design' aka 'GOD'.

To believe in something, one only needs to satisfy oneself, as to the evidence. That is why my forefathers believed government should not intrude into religious matters.
