Enclave Clause

The Enclave Clause is a clause in the Constjtution that grants to the Congress of the United States 

Exclusive legislative jurisdiction over any parcel of land not to exceed 10 miles square in a territory known as the District of Columbia. All other land ceded by a state to rhe Federal government for the Erection of Forts, MagazinesM Arsenals, dockyards, and other needful buildings.
