The Supreme Court Has a Rubber Stamp

The authors of the Constitution wanted to prevent the abuse of power by creating three branches of government that would provide a check and a balance. The President would have the power to veto Congressional legislation and Congress had the power to over ride the President's veto and the Supreme Court could nullify any legislation it  deemed  to be unconstitutional. 

In the past hundred years thee has been tens of thousands of bills passed by Congress since the first session of Congress/ In over 200 years an average of less than one  act of Congress per year has been ruled unconstitutional.
