Guilt By Accusation

The founders of our Country believed that a person was presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a Court of Law. We would not prosecute individuals merely based on an accusation of wrong doing. The main stream media has already acted as Judge and Jury and is asking Congress to be the Executioner. Why not indict Assad and put him on trial in the World Court. If he is found guilty of war crimes he should be punished; but for the United States to presume he is guilty would be a miscarriage of justice. Is it lawful to execute someone who is suspected of committing a crime before that individuals has his day in court?

Was Osama Bin Laden found guilty in a court of law? Did he have an opportunity to defend himself in a court of law?

Should individuals accused of crimes be executed before they have their day in court?
