Dear President Obama

Dear President Obama,

Yesterday, I laid my infant daughter to rest who was killed in a drone strike you ordered in order to make the world safe for democracy. I frankly don't understand how killing my daughter and hundreds of other innocent Pakistani children can promote peace. If you are really interested in promoting democracy, I would like to suggest instead of sending us your bombs, why not try sending us your love and understanding? Why not treat us as you wish to be treated?

Does your Christian Bible, which you proclaim is the foundation of your country justify the killing of innocent children? Does your Bible suggest that dropping bombs is the way to promote peace?

You claim that the principles of liberty, equality and justice are rights that God bestowed upon your people, but they do not apply to us. When your founders fought for their unalienable rights they were considered patriots, but when we fight for our lives, liberty and property you call us terrorists.

We love the American people, but we despise your government and your leaders who continue to occupy our lands. How would you feel if we had military bases in Pennsylvania or Virginia? How would you feel if we had military personnel patrolling your streets? When the British government did to you, what you are doing to us, you considered their actions to be intolerable. Those who fought for their rights were called Patriots, but today you call us terrorists for doing the same thing. Can't you see that American government's foreign policy is unjust, unfair and the reason why you are despised around the world?

When Hitler killed six million Jews you called it genocide, but when your government exterminated millions of Native Americans and stole their land you claimed that it was your manifest destiny.
