Representation of the Counties

With the Declation of Independence each of the 13 Colonies  wrote new Constitutions.. The states were subdivided into counties and each county was represented in the state'slegislature.

Most of the states had a General Assembly where indivuduaks and political factions were representerd anda senate where the interests of the counties were represented

According to James Madison the purpose of the Constitution for thes united Stateswas written to revent thr tyrsnny of the majority.

By creating bicameral legislatures it was the intent of the framers of the Constitution to the najority from from dominating a minority.

When the 17th Amendment was ratfied the bicameral legislautre became a dysfuntional body that turned the senate into a second version of the House of Representatives that made the tyranny of the majority inevitible.Is this statement true or is it false _
