Your Dog Needs a License

But Your Elected Officials Don't

Your dog needs a license and so does your doctor, dentist and lawyer. Stockbrokers, insurance agents, accountants and teachers are all required to take tests to prove they are qualified to do their job.

In order to serve in an office of public trust and compensation all elected officials should be certified as Constitutional Scholars.

Giving a just anyyone the right to serve the public would be like hiring a between a chimpanzee and a guinea pig to perform do brain surgery on one of your children.

I would like to propose that counties pass an ordinance requiring all candidates running for a public office be required to take and pass a test on their Constitutional knowledge.

The names of the top three candidates with the highest scores would have their names put in  hat  and the individual's name that was drawn would fill the seat.By sc By screening the applicants candidates and taking the money out of politic we could we could greaatty improve the quality of our public servants.

Allowing ignorantt and uninformed men and women to vote turns elections into popularity contests where candidateswith the most money usuallyget the most votes.
