The Winner Take All method of allocating their states e;ectral votes in Presidential elections is unfair. All of the states except Maine and Nebraska award 100% of their states electoral votes to the candidate who wins their statewide popular election.

This sysem turns the election of the President into popularity contest and disenfranchises millions of voters.

Donald Trump won the popular vote in 2,588 counties while Joe Biden won only  551 counties. 

Rather than having statewide popularity contests in 50 states we should have a Presidential elections in each of the 435 Congressional Districts.

Each Congressional Districts should have their own  Presidential elector in order to guarantee that every vote would be counted. 

The electoral college was created to prevent the large states and  urban counties from completely dominating the political landscape. 

Every citizen's vote should count equally, but with the Winner Take All system of allocating Electoral votes, only the votes received by the most popular camdidate are counted.

In 2000 George W. Bush won the popular votes in 2,434 Counties and Al Gore won the election in 677 Counities, but Al Gore  received popular votes nationwide.

Bush won the 2020 election in 30 states while Gore won the popular vote on 20 states.
