Too Many Cooks in the Kitcheen

 We are currently been governed by the opinions of hundreds of corrupt career politicians  and have allowed our country that had been governed by law to one that is governed by the will of the majority.

We now have a House of Representatives with hundreds of corrupt career politicians this is a classic example of the idiom that Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen Spoils the Broth 

Under the Articles of Confederation the united States had a unicameral legislature where each state received one vote,

After the raification of the Constitution the union of states became a bicameral legislature with the addition a House of Representatives.

This was a tragic mistake because the majority of the people in the largest states were able to turn the country that had been governed by law into to a government ruled by the opinions of the majority.  .

As long as the senate represented the states the founders were able to prevent the democratic House of Representatives establishing a democracy in America.
