The Black Hills National Park consists of 1.2 million acres that was ceded to the Lakota Sioux Nation in the Fort Laramie Treaty in 1851.

The State of South Dakota has 9 Indian Reservations.  They should unite to create a new state that would be given Congressional representation.

The Federal government owns an additional 2,4 million ac res that should be transferred to the indigenous peoples.
