In 1964 the American earning a minimum wage of $1,15 per hour

ed an average of $6.600. A brand new Ford Mustang in 1964 was $2,368. The person with an average income would have needed to work  2.79 years to earn enough money to purchase a new Ford Mustang.

In 1964 a person earning a minimum wage of $1.15 pwe hour would have needed to work 2.059 hours to be able to purchase a brand new Ford Mustang for $2,36  . Today a person earning  a minimum wage of $7.50 per hour would need to work at least 4,300 hours.

while today it qould cost of $32,640. The minimum wage in 1964 was $1.15 cents per hour. It would have required 2,000hours of labor to purchaes the car wile today would require a minimum wage earner to work for over 40,000 hours.. In 1964 it would have required  250 hours of labor for a minimum wage earner o be able to purchase a brand new Ford Mustang. Todqy same minimum wage earner would need to work 8 hours a day the 13 years to be able to purchase the new car.
