Sound Religion
In the very First Amendment the freedom of religion was guaranteed. Tge people had a right to worship God according to their own conscience as long as their beliefs did not violatte the ights of others to do the same.
The government was prohibited from favoring one religious sect or denomination over another.
The founders beleived that all sound relgions must contain the following principles.
