On November 5. 2024 there will elections in 34 states to fill vacancies in the U.S. Senate, In order to retain their razor thin edge in the senate the democratic candidates will need to win 24 of the 34 seats that are up for grabs,

In they are unable to do so, the republicans will have the opportunity to block all legislation that they collectively believe exceeds their Constitutional authority.

Once upon a time senators were chosen by the state legislatures and were able to vote their conscience and represent the best interests of their states, but today the senators represent the interest of the Wall Street bankers and corporations.

The 724 billionaires in the United States will spend tens of millions of dollars to elect  34 senators and fill the seats with their hand picked puppets.

Allowing the financial elite to purchase  seats in the senate, rather than allowing the senators to chosen by the representatives of the people in the state legislatures is an issue that must be addressed.

Rather than being punished for violating their oath of office we keep re-electing the incumbents and rewarding them for violating the Constitution.

Until we take the money out of politics and hold our elected officials accountable the few at the top will continue to benefit at the expense of everyone else.
