Rearranging the Deck Chairs on the Titanic

Unfortunately the damage has already been done. According to my friend, Michael Badnarik the Titanic has already struck the iceberg and that it is just a matter of time before the ship of state goes under. Electing different men and women to represent us in Congress is like assigning different deck hands to rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic.

How much good would it have done for the passengers to have thrown the Captain overboard? Michael told me that perhaps our time would be better spent preparing for the catastrophe that is just around the corner. When the government runs out of our money, where will the hungry people go? When the shelves of the grocery stores are empty, where do you think the hungry will go to feed their families?

Perhaps we should be preparing to protect our lives, liberty and property. Without a gun and the knowledge on how to use it we will become defenseless against the tyranny that is bound to come. I think that those of us that love liberty need to band together for our mutual defense. That is precisely what the militia movement is all about.
