Voting is not a Right it is a Responsibility

On the surface denying ignorant and uniformed people from voting sounds terribly unfair, but trusting just anyone with a ballot is as potemtially dangerous thing to do.

Im order to save lives we have established minimum standards to insure that the health care professionals are properly educated .

Voting is not a right, it is a responsibility that should be reserved for people that are well informed on the candidates and the issues to be decided.

Direct democratic elections are nothing more tha glorified popularity contests where billions of dollars are spent to elect politiicans to serve the best interests of their Wall Street donors.

In order to get the best results in elections , we need to improve the quality of the candidates and the voters by establishing miunimum standards.for both.

It takes a medical doctor many years to prove that they  are worthy to serve in their chosen profession, but it only takes a politician a desire to seve and alot of money. 

There are over 60 million Americans Citizens that are bnot allowed to vote because of they have not yet had their 18th birthday.

 Children are not elgibleto vote because it is beleived that they are not capable of voting intelligently. On their 18th birthday, do they  miraculously become capable?
