No Harm Principle

Christians are coPeople should have the freedom to do whatever they want as long as they harm no one else n the process.

Laws can either define what you can not do or what you are required to do. The best way to promote justice is to punish injustice. The alternative law woulf reward  those  who are just. 

Identifying when a person tells a lie, cheats or steals  it is much easier to punish the perpetrator than it is to reward people for appropriate behavior.

Positive laws compel individuals to act in certain way or be penalized for their disobedience.

When negative or natural laws are violated there are natural consequences. when you touch a hot stove you get burned. When a Natural Law is violsted a crime has been committed the  criminal needs to compemsate the victim for their loses.
