Less than one percent of the people gave their consent to ratify the Constitution.

In the Preamble to the famous words "We the People" is known by all, but who were the founders referring to when they wrote these famous words?

In 1788 when the Constitution was ratified by a relative few wealthy white men were even consulted. Over 98% of the people living in the 13 colonies never gave their consent.

The Constitution was written to secure the rights of the few at the expense of the very many. It did not defend the rights of the vast majority of the people who were not white, male or the owners of a sufficient amount of property.

Does this sound like a government based on the priniples found in the Declaration of Independence?

The Declaration promoted a government that would derive its power from the consent of all of the people, not just the rich, while men.

The white men who voted to ratify the Constitution  wanted to preserve their wealth and statues and did not represent liberty, equality and justice for all.

Today little has changed, the Constitution still benefits the few at the expense of the many.

Political power is vested the hands of the financial elite and Congress represents their interests and not the people who elected them.

Wall Street bankers and corporations have invested billions of dollars to purchase the seats in Comgress for their hand picked puppets.
