Holding the Government Accountable

If all of the people in the world always told the truth, kept their promises and respected the lives, liberty and property of other we could enjoy perpetual peace, prosperity and freedom.

Governments should enforce these laws by punishing the violators, instead of trying to enforce man made laws that benefit some at the expense of others. 

People and governments both need to be held accountable for violating Laws of Nature and Nature's God. We the people need to obey God's Law and the government needs to obey the Constitution.

We the people are accountable to God and the government is accountable to We the People. In order to obey God's Law we must know what is expected of us and for the government to obey the Constitution our government officials must understand their duty as it is written in the Constitution.

God will hold us accountable and we in turn must hold the government accountable. In order for us to do our job we must know and understand what powers have been delegated to government and which ones have reserved to the states.

If the people of the world would tell the truth, keep their promises and respect the rights of others we could govern ourselves and enjoy the blessings of liberty.

If people took the responsibility to govern themselves we would need to be governed by others.
