Abraham Lincoln claimed that it his goal of invading the South was to preserve the Union, but his hidden agenda was to turn the union of sovereign states into a powerful nation where the citizens of the states became subjects of the corporation and the power of "We the People" had been successfully transferred to a National Crime Syndicate. In order to create this new nation he had to violate the Constitution he pretended to revere. The nation was purchased with the lives of 600,000 America

The vast majority of the people in the United States in the 19th Century believed in the racial superiority of white people.  If Licoln had proclaimed that blacks were entitled to the same rights as white people he would never been elected President.
