The most outstanding teachers  challenge their students by asking  better questions.

Multiple Choice and True and False questions do not test a students critical thinking skills, they test the students ability to memorize, regurgitate. and guess.

Critical thinking skills can best be promoted when the teachers ask Thought proking Questions 

Testing students with Multiple Choice and/or True False qustions are  much easier for teachers to score than Essay Questions. 

One of the best ways to evaluate a teacher  is to look at the quality of the questions they ask.

Teachers who challenge their students with thought proking quesions promote require critial thinking.
