Coucil of Noceae

Before the pagan ruler Constantine  of the Roman Empire convened the Coucil of Nicaea in 322  Christianity was a monotheistic religion. It wasm't until after  the adoption of the Nicaean Creed  that concept of the Trinity became the doctrine of orthodox Christianity.

the Bishiops voted to accept the Nicaean Creed whch affirmed the concept of the Trinity.
