The Federal government claims to own 44 million acres in the state of California. This land rightfully belongs to the people and should be returned to its rightful owner.

The land has an astronomical value and if the land was restored to the state, California's financial woes would vanish like an ice cube on a hot stove.

The California budget for 2019-20 is $208. 9 billion, if 10 million acres were leased for $200.00 per month California would generate  two billion dollars a month of $2.4 billion dollars year that would be more than enough to fund the state government.

This would create a budget surplus of over $2 trillion dollars which could enable the state to redistribute the profits to the people.

Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Montana, and Wyoming could also become self sufficient if the Federal land and was returned to its rightful owners.
