An Unholy Alliance
Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s Minister of Propaganda once stated that “It is the absolute right of the state to supervise the formation of public opinion”. Do you think that Hitler ability to deceive the people of Germany was made possible by his control over the media and the information that they received?
Never in my lifetime has a Presidential candidate been treated with as much disrespect as Ron Paul. Every day I hear people repeating the things that they have read in the newspapers or heard on the radio and/or televisions.
“Ron Paul is crazy“, “Ron Paul is unelectable”, “Ron Paul is dangerous” and “Ron Paul is a Nut Job” are comments that I hear every day.
Goebbels also stated that “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
The people that are responsible for the lies and distortions are the people that control the media. It just so happens that the same people control the political parties and the curriculum taught in the public schools.
