The Apology was Long Over Due
Most American recognize that the institution of slavery was immoral. I believe we are not responsible for the sins of our fathers, but we Congress and the President should our acknowledge and apologize for the history of racism in the United States.
Once the apology has been made it will be the responsibility of the descendants of former slaves to forgive the sins of our dead ancestors.
Even after slavery had been officially abolished the negro population continued to be denied equal rights and equal opportunity. Tremendous such as the compulsory sterilization of black women and the infamous Syphilis studies of black men are horrendous examples of racial discrimination.

America is outraged when one black career criminal is killed by policeman while the lives of 1,000 unborn black babies are terminated by doctors who have taken an oath to save lives.
