U.S. Tax payers pay $874 billion dollars to fund the Department of Defenxe.

In 2024 the Federal government generated  4.9 trillion dollars and spent  $6.7 trillion dollars and had a deficit of $1.8 trillion dollars. The interest on the national debt was  over $880 billion dollars
