Gerymandering is a Bad Idea

In the 2024 Presidential Election  in Texas 25 of the 38 Congressional seats were held be the Republicans. In 2025 the Texas State Legisslature redrew their Congressonal District boundaries and in the procress created 5  more districts that favor the election of republican candidatess.

In the 2026 Congressional Mid Term Election 30 of the 38 Districts will lean in favor of republican cabdidates. 

While 46% of Texans tend o vote for Democrats they only represent 21% of the of their Congressional delegation.

Creating partissn ongressional Districts stacks the deckin favor of one party over the other.
