Mitt Romney was not a Natural Born Citizen

George Wilcken Romney was born on July 8, 1907 in Colonia Dublán, Mexico. George's father was Gaskill Romney.

In 1885 President John Taylor of the Mormon Church purchased 100,000 acres of land in Mexico. This act allowed over 350 Latter-day Saint families who practiced polygamy from Utah and Arizona to settle land in Mexico.
The Mexican government required all of the immigrants to renounce their U.S. Citizenship and become Mexican Citizens.

When George Romey was born in Mexico both his mother and father were Mexican Citizens. In 1912 many of the Mormon families in Mexico returned to the United States while retaining their Mexican Citizenship.
At the age of 5 George and his family returned to Utah. To the best of my knowledge he never renounced his Mexican Citizenship and never applied to become a citizen of the United States.

Mitt Romney was the son of a Mexican parents and born in the United States, Because his parents were not citizens of the United States at the time of his birth, Mitt Romney was not a Natural Born Citizen and was not eligible to run for the Presidency. His father George who ran for President in 1968 was also ineligible to run for the Presidency
