When a man gives his consent to be governeed he loses his sovereignty and his God given rights. A man who is governed is not a freeman, he is a subject to the authority of a ruling class.

A man gives his consent by obeying the laws enacted by the rulers. When he refuses to obey the unjust laws, he withdraws his consent and the strip their government of their right to govern.

Thomas Jefferson stated in the Declaration of Independence that governments are created by the consent of the governed. He also said that the people have a right to alter of abolish their government.

This can happen when a sufficient number of people withdraw their consent. This is done when the people refuse to obey the unjust laws, rules and regulations.

When you tolerate injustice you give your consent to tyranny. You can only become a victim if you give your consent.

When you choose to vote and pay Federal Income Taxes you give your consent.

Florida qualified for statehood in 1845 when its populatio met the minimum requirement of 60,000. At that time Florida was assigned one Congressman and two senators.

Today. Florida has a population just under 22 million and has 28 Congressional representatives. The census was established to count the number of inhabitants in every state every ten years  in order to guarantee that the number of representaties a state would have would grow every ten years at the same pace as its increase in  population.

If the people of Florida were as well represented today as they were in 1845 we would have approximately 360 Congressional Districts instead of 28.

The power of the people is directly proportional to the number of representatives a state has. When all political power is vested in the hands of just 435 career politicians who are working for the Wall Street corporations , We the People are easily exploited by the men and women we elect to serve us preservem protect and defend our lives, liberty and property.

Who Does Your Senator Represent?

Marco Rubio and Rck Scott have been elected by the voters in metropoliran counties and the support of pit od state donors and Wall Street corporations. Marco Rubio spent $49 million dollars to win his seat and Rick Scott spent $78 million dollars to win his seat.

The seats of both of our senators were bought and paid by donors that expect them repay them for their generosity. If the U.S. Senators were chosen by the Florida State Legislature it would make it more diffucult for the financial elite to corrupt the election of senators.
