Children's Stories
As children we are taught many stories like Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella We are also taight about Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. As we grow up we come to realize that these fictional stories were written to entertain us.
We are taught that other stories from the Bible about David and Goliath, Noah and his Ark and the Parting of the Red Sea are historical people, places and/or events and most of us believe the stories taught to us by our parents. We assumed that the stories were true and never questioned the authenticity of these Biblical stories.
