Harry Beadle retired in early 2010 after 42 years as a journalist, working as a radio news anchor and reporter in Mississippi, Tennessee and Georgia, the last 13 years as a news anchor for the CNN Radio Network.

During his career in local radio, Harry’s work was honored by United Press International, the Associated Press, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Radio and Television News Directors Association, the Georgia Association of Broadcasters, the American Red Cross, and included national honors from Investigative Reporters and Editors. At CNN Radio, Harry shared in two Peabody Awards and an Alfred I DuPont-Columbia University Award.

Since his retirement, Harry has been writing essays on American culture and politics. His work has been published on a number of Conservative websites, including American Thinker, Battleline Online (a website of the American Conservative Union), the Christian Coalition of America, the Conservative Heritage Times, Conservative Network Broadcasting (now offline), Red State, Townhall and the Constitution Party of Georgia.
