The Oligarchy of the United States

An Oligarchy is a form of government that is ruled by the few, Contrary to what you've been taught the founding fathers created an oligarchy and not a republic or a democracy, North Korea, the Soviet Union  Iran and China and the United States all call themselves republics, but are republics in name only

Out of the over 3.9 million inhabitants in the 13 states only 1,643 of the wealthiest white men in the 13 states were allowed to vote on the ratification of the Constitution. Significantly fewer than 1% of the people voted to ratify the Constitution.

Today over 330 million people are being governed by the consent of 1,066 men who have been dead and buried for over 200 years. Isn't it about time that we the people had the opportunity to give our consent?

Should we be governed by our consent  of an oligarchy of1,066 plantation owners and other wealthy business men.

The states and the dates of ratification are listed here, in order of ratification: Total Population was 3,929,214 and only 1,643 men  actually voted for or against ratification.

Delaware voted 30 to 0 in favor of ratification                   

Pennsylvania: voted 46 to 23  in favor or ratification on    New Jersey voted  38 to 0 in favor or ratification

Georgia: voted 26 to 0  in favor of ratification

Connecticut  voted 28 to 40 in favor of ratification            Massachusetts voted 187 to 168 in favor of ratification

Maryland  voted 63 to 11 in favor of ratification   

South Carolina  voted 149 to 73 in favor or ratification

New Hampshire  voted 52 to 47 in favor of ratification   

Vrginia  voted 89 to 79 in favor of ratification                    North Carolina voted 194 to 77  in favor of ratification   

Rhode Island voted  34 to 32 in favor of  ratification

In the state of Virginia the total population of the state was 758,000 and only 89 of the people voted to ratify the Constitution, Only wealthy white men are given the opportunity vote for or against ratification,

In 1790 Census  the total population of Virginia for the purpose of apportionment in the house of representatives was 673,345 and the state was entitled to have one representative for 30,000 inhabitants. In the Congress of 1790 Virginia had 10 representatives and they should have had 22.

In the first Congressional Election in 1788 James Madison defeated James Monroe by a margin of 1,308 to 972.

Based on those numbers approximately 22,800  or 3% of the people living in Virginia 758.486 would have voted in the Congressional Elections.
