Because the vast majority of voters are ignorant and uninformed they tend to vote for the candidate represens the political party that promises to give them all of the things they wan at the expense of others.

Political Partie sprnd billions of dollars to market thei candidate to an audience to ignornt and uninformed voters.

Direct democratic elections have become popularity contests that are like beauty pageants where the candidate is the most attractive is likely to win the race.

In order to get elected a candidate must sell their soul to the devil to get the support of the bankers and Wall Street Corporations.

Politicians do not represent the people, they represent the millionaires and billionaires that control the political parties.

Tens of millions of dollars  are invested every year by the Wall Street Corporstions to purchase the services of unethical politicians who are willing to vote the party line.
