bbbIf the Comstitution is a binding contract the terms of the agreement can not change over time withiut the consent of both parties to the contract.

Im the case of the Constitution the states and not the people gave their consent when they ratified the Constitution.

If legally binding contract can be amended by reinterpreting the terms of the agreement the contract becomes little more than a suggestion.
