“You never change things by fighting the existing reality.
To change something, build a new model that
makes the existing model obsolete.”

― R. Buckminster Fuller

The Duty to Alter or Abolish

I have come to the conclusion that it is too late to alter our government and all efforts to reform or rehabilitate the government would be a complete waste of time. The government derives its authority from the consent of the governed and only when a sufficient number of people withdraw their consent does the government lose it's authority to exist. We the people created the government and we have the power to end it.

We cannot reform or rehabilitate the government. We must do as Thomas Jefferson advocated in the Declaration of Independence; that when a government becomes abusive it is the right and the duty of the people to alter or abolish it. I think that it is too late to alter it and that we must now create a new model that will better secure our lives, liberty and property.

We need a government that operates on the principles of ethical behavior. Every decision the government makes must promote liberty, equal protections and justice. The sole purpose of the government is to protect our rights, not to provide us with things.

The government we have will continue to abuse us until we refuse to obey all of the unjust rules, regulations, codes, ordinances and statutes that have been instituted to control us.

Dropping Bombs to Promote Peace

Traumatizing a child to teach them a lesson is morally wrong. God wants us to love one another. Striking a child because you claim to love them is like bombing other nations to promote peace. If God admonishes us to love one another, how can he at the same time advocate the use of force to compel another to do what we want them to?

If it is unethical for a nation to initiate force it must also be unethical for an individual to initiate force. The initiation of force can only be justified when it is used in defense of life, liberty or property. You cannot achieve ethical outcomes by making unethical decisions anymore than you can plant corn and harvest beans.

God wants us to be ethical and when The Bible advocates unethical principles, I believe The Bible is not speaking for God, but for the financial elite that benefit from the teaching of false doctrine.

When we strike a child, we show the child that acts of aggression have the potential to produce ethical outcomes. This is a fallacy that people use to justify war.

The idea that we can tell lies to promote the truth or that we can help the poor by stealing from the rich would support the premise that "the ends justify the means."

Is it morally wrong to lie, cheat and steal? Are there consequences that result when we violate ethical principles? Is the necessity to adhere to the principles of ethical behavior absolute or arbitrary?

If Congress seeks to solve a problem they cannot do so by passing laws that benefit some of the people at the expense of others?

Either Jesus was Truth walking on the Earth OR He was the greatest deceiver who ever lived.  Does that not make sense?  He did not give us any other option.  He then backed up His teachings with miracles and then His bodily Resurrection.  That life lived 2000 years ago was attested to by over 500 people who saw the Resurrected Saviour.  This event in history is the absolutely greatest event that ever has taken place OR it is the greatest fraud perpetrated upon humanity.

It would seem logical that a good amount of time should be devoted to researching the authenticity of the Resurrection.  It should not be glossed over; it is far too critical to our existence both here and into eternity.

And for those who say they believe Jesus was and is God in the flesh, it would then only seem logical that they would order their lives to conform to His teachings.  To say you love Jesus and have no idea what He taught about marriage, child training, abortion, worship, church leadership and dozens of other topics leads an impartial observer to wonder whether the Christian is really just a religious hypocrite or merely using religion as a crutch.

Far too many people have looked at the Church and the weak followers attending there and have decided that Christianity is flawed.  It is.  But the fact that God chose to use vessels of clay to destroy the kingdom of darkness should be understood by anyone who is honest about their investigation.

It is not about the people in the Church.  It is about Jesus.  What are YOU going to do about Him?

Are you going to turn your back on Him because He chose to use people like you who are messed up, to conquer the world through love?

Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father, but by Me."

To say you are a truth seeker and deny the claims of Christ is the greatest error a person could make.

Whenever anyone diminishes Christ to an afterthought, to me the person is not a great source to follow.  But it does not mean they have no truth at all.  I will just keep a safe distance.
